Access Timetable Builder
Navigate to the academic section to access the timetable management tools.
- • Click on Academic in the left sidebar menu
- • Select Timetables or Timetable Builder
- • Choose the academic term/session you want to create a timetable for
Set Up Time Slots
Define the time slots for your school day before assigning subjects.
- School Start Time: When classes begin each day
- School End Time: When classes end each day
- Break Times: Define recess, lunch, and other breaks
- Period Duration: Length of each class period
- Number of Periods: Total periods per day
Configure School Days
Specify which days of the week your school operates.
- Select Operating Days: Monday-Friday, Monday-Saturday, etc.
- Half-Day Configuration: Set shorter schedules for specific days
- Special Schedules: Configure assembly or activity days
Assign Subjects to Classes
Map subjects to classes and specify the number of periods per week.
- Select Class: Choose the class you're scheduling
- Add Subjects: Select subjects from your curriculum
- Set Periods: Define how many periods per week for each subject
- Assign Teachers: Link subjects to qualified teachers
Build the Timetable
Use the timetable builder to assign subjects to specific time slots and days.
- Drag and Drop: Drag subjects to time slots in the grid
- Auto-Generate: Use the auto-scheduler to create an initial timetable
- Conflict Detection: System highlights teacher and room conflicts
- Manual Adjustment: Fine-tune the schedule as needed
Assign Classrooms
Assign physical classrooms to each scheduled period if applicable.
- Classroom Setup: Define available classrooms in your school
- Room Capacity: Set maximum student capacity per room
- Special Facilities: Mark rooms with special equipment (labs, libraries)
- Assign Rooms: Link classrooms to scheduled periods
Review and Publish
Review the complete timetable for errors and publish it for access.
- Conflict Check: Verify no teacher or room conflicts exist
- Load Balance: Ensure teacher workload is evenly distributed
- Preview: View the timetable from different perspectives
- Publish: Make the timetable visible to teachers and students
