Getting Started
Setup, onboarding, and your first steps with Schoolics.
Most schools go live within 3–7 days. We handle the initial configuration, data import from your existing records, and provide training for your staff. The timeline depends on the size of your school and the complexity of data migration.
We need your school profile (name, logo, contact details), academic structure (classes, subjects, timetables), student and staff records, and fee structure. If you have existing data in spreadsheets, we can help import it.
No. Schoolics is designed for non-technical users. Our team provides onboarding training, and the interface is intuitive. If you ever need help, our support team is available to assist.
Yes. We support importing data from spreadsheets (Excel, CSV) and can work with you to migrate from other school management systems. Our team guides you through the process to ensure data accuracy.

Schoolics offers flexible plans based on your student count. Pricing is per active student per term, making it affordable as you grow. We also offer flat monthly options for larger schools. Contact us for a custom quote based on your specific needs.
All plans include core features: academic management, attendance, parent portal, and basic reporting. Higher-tier plans include additional modules like CBT exams, extra lessons, school shop, transport, clinic, and more. Each plan also includes dedicated support.
Yes. We offer a trial period so you can explore Schoolics before committing. The trial includes access to core features so you can experience the platform firsthand.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan as your needs change. If you grow and need more students or additional modules, we can adjust your plan accordingly.

Yes. Parents can pay securely through the parent portal using Paystack or Flutterwave. Payments are recorded automatically, and instant PDF receipts are generated. Your bursar can also record offline payments (bank transfers, cash) with manual approval.
Yes. Our CBT module allows teachers to create computer-based tests with multiple question types. Students take exams online, and the system auto-grades objective questions. Results are published instantly when approved.
Absolutely. Schoolics is fully white-label. Your school name, logo, colors, and letterhead appear on every page, report card, receipt, and portal. Parents see your brand, not ours.
Schoolics is mobile-first. Parents can add it to their home screen on iOS and Android — it works like a native app without app store download. Teachers can mark attendance and enter grades from their phones.
Fee lock allows you to restrict access to results and certain portal areas until outstanding fees are cleared. This encourages timely payments while keeping parents informed about their balance.
Yes. Our multi-campus module allows you to manage multiple branches from a single dashboard with consolidated reporting. This is ideal for school groups or expanding institutions.

Yes. Schoolics uses bank-grade encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data transmission. Data is stored in secure, isolated environments per school. We use role-based access control, audit logging, and regular security updates.
Your school owns your data. Schoolics acts as a data processor. You can export your data at any time, and we provide tools for data backup and migration. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
Yes. Our architecture supports Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) requirements, including lawful basis for processing, data minimization, access controls, and the right to request correction or deletion through your school administrator.
You can export all your data before cancellation. We provide a grace period for data retrieval. After cancellation, your data is securely deleted according to our data retention policy.
Data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with redundancy and regular backups. We maintain data centers with robust security measures and compliance certifications.
